Writers of The Lord of the Rings Sign on for Hobbit

Variety reports that after months of searching for the proper writers for The Hobbit and its sequel, Peter Jackson and Guillermo del Toro have officially enlisted The Lord of the Rings’s writing team of Fran Walsh and Philippa Boyens to join their own efforts.

LeRoi Moore, Dave Matthews Band Saxophonist, Dies at 46

According to a message on the band’s Web site, LeRoi Moore, saxophonist and founding member of the Dave Matthews Band, has passed away due to injuries sustained from a June ATV accident on his farm outside of Charlottesville, VA. He was 46.
